Yet again, in 2009, FLORIALIS, a Palheiro Estate affiliate and the leading flower production farm on the island, has been awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for the best Cymbidium Orchid cut-flowers and plants, the best Protea flowers and for a variety of Protea-similar flowers at the Annual Flower Festival competition in April.
